Hiya guys!
I've set up this acount for a make-your-own-portfolio-project for school and was like, hey, let's use deviantart.
I'm from the Netherlands, but I live close to the borders with Belgium and Germany. I turned 18 in December and I want to be a history teacher when I grow up :3
I really enjoy painting fish, monsters and other curious creatures. I find myself strongly inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton in general and pictures of abandoned places like the town of Prityat.
Also, I like cats.

Today, I started a drawing inspired by the cover of the book 'das Parfum'. It has been quite a long time since I have drawn with pencils only. The reason for that, is that I like working fast, so most of the time I use charcoal. I also like color and that's why, most of the time when I use pencils, it's to make a sketch for a painting. But hey, I felt like drawing with a pencil today. But the I had a problem; you see, my parents are divorced and every two weeks I move between my mother and father. Yesterday I moved from my dad's house to my moms'. And ofcourse.. I forget half of my crap, including all my erasers --' So I was like, let's do a
